Daniel Ellsberg/Edward Snowden Is there a difference?

Everyone’s saying that Snowden should have gone thru proper channels, like to Congress.

Remember the Pentagon Papers, Daniel Ellsberg went to Henry Kissinger who was NSA Advisor at the time, Sen. George McGovern and Sen. William Fulbright, they weren’t interested so he went to a NYT reporter.  You do what will get the most results.

Who would Snowden have gone to?  Certainly not to any Republican member of Congress given their reaction now, Boehner, King, Cantor to name a few, and because they supported George Bush with his freedom grabbing Patriot Act that seems to be the (incorrect) authority for this tracking of Americans.

All of you staunch supporters of George Bush, (I wasn’t one) who was willing to give up your liberty in exchange for security, and those of you who supported the Patriot Act deserve what you now have, just like those who voted for Obama deserve what they have, unfortunately those of us who supported neither also got what YOU deserve.  Good going sheeple!
