Here’s my famous Peach Delight or what’s left of it after Mr. G got into it. This is the most delicious dessert ever.
Disclaimer: NOT FOR DIABETICS OR DIETS
Phoebe’s Peach Delight
1st layer
2 c. self rising flour
2 sticks soft butter
1 c. chopped walnuts
Mix together, press into 9×13 pan. Bake at 350 for 25 min. Cool
2nd layer
8 oz soft cream cheese
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 8 oz tub cool whip
Mix together and spread on top of 1st layer.
3rd layer
4 c. diced peaches, fresh, frozen or canned (I just sliced them instead of diced)
Spread on top of 2nd layer.
4th layer
1 c. sugar
4 tbls flour
4 tbls dry peach jello
1 c. water
Cook until thick and clear, cool, pour over peaches, let set overnight.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Sniff, sniff,,,
Wait – there it is, as if by magic. Okay, that answers the question that was raised by the mystery white layer.
Good Lord – the amount of sugar is staggering. I love it !!! I’ll have to substitute pecans for the walnuts. Not too fond of walnuts.
